Dealing with ear tinnitus (ringing)!!!

in Tinnitus Treatment

Hello all… how are u all? i am doing good here… how was ur memorial day? my was alright. we had hamburgers for memorial day almost like everyone else… Today i want to talk about ear tinnitus… I noticed one vlogger talked about ear tinnitus so i wanted to talk about it too, his vlog name is North True, at northtrue.blogspot.com ear tinnitus can be annoying and painful. I always had problems with my ear ringing and makes background noise inside like i hear heartbeats, there times it extreme loud while other times it quiet. when i put on my hearing aid, it seems to make the “heartbeat” noise louder. those “heartbeat” noise i hear in my ear is 24/7 making noise and it can be annoying. nothing really tiggers my ears to ring or make noise inside. it just happens at randoms. i did some research, i also heard from someone that, deaf people who have problems with tinnitus in ear, it cuz we can’t hear so our brain has to make up some sound to keep itself busy and in rhythm like the brain is listening to music in a way lol… but yes it is annoying. funny thing is, my left ear, which is totally deaf, never had any ringing problems at all my whole life. my right ear is deaf but not totally like my left ear as i can use my hearing aid in right ear only. why do we deal with ear tinnitus? so what about u guys? do u deal with ringing or sounds in ear all the time or just sometime? how do u guys deal with it? does anything tigger your ears to make ringing sound or other sounds

i don’t know what others have but for me its an ear pressure problem, I also have a heart beat in my ear, but if i don’t set my jaw correctly there is this disorienting and annoying release of pressure in my ear and it my own voice is amplified when I speak by a lot, so i don’t like to talk, but when i put my head under water, the pressure subsides so I can sing when my heads under water, i love to sing… but i cant really compare the experience with deafness… but tinnitis?

I have a hard time dealing with it. i hear a continuous high frequency sound. I have to take a sleeping pill to help me sleep every day.

I have tinnitus, too.
It gets worse after I listen to music with my headphones, but especially when I am really tired.
What helps me: gently applying a small amount of Calendula oinment into the ear. It’s an Ayurvedic remedy for hypersensitivity (has a calming effect upon hearing nerves).
Hope it’ll help you, too.

i went to a small bar/venue for a ska show on Saturday night and now its Wednesday night. My right ear is still ringing! Sometimes throughout the day I go on with my business not really paying attention to the ring but when i listen for it i get so disappointed that it hasnt gone away…

i have gone to louder concerts and the ringing used to go away in a day but i hope this is not forever!! my hopes are still up though!

I bought your e-book, 11 PROVEN TECHNIQUES TO
CURE TINNITUS and I must say that never in my life
I have been lie in this way. To begin, 24 pages is not a
book. Second : you offers 11 techniques to cure tinnitus
and the only thing in this 24 pages is just information
that anybody can obtained in 15 minutes on the internet.
How can you lie for money?
How can you use the desperation of people for profit?

This may sound strange but sometimes I think I should enduce deafness and maybe it will stop.

halliemartin1 December 29, 2009 at 9:13 PM

I’ve have had tinnitus for about 2 years now. I nearly went off the deep end. I went to my doc and he said there is nothing you can do. That’s NOT true. I know see a counselor. Stress, muscle tenstion and anxiety actually make tinnitus louder. It physically raises your heart rate increase, releases cortison, which all make tinnitus louder! SO I take Klonopin for the anxiety and Effexor XR for depression and anxiety. It’s helped!

I heard that many years ago, a surgeon induced deafness in a patient by severing the auditory nerves. Afterwards the patient still had the Tinnitus.
